Bylaws Change
A proposed change to the organization’s bylaws was recently approved by unanimous vote. Section 5.03, Board and Terms of Office, now reads: Terms of Board Members. The members of the Board shall be elected for a term of no more than three years, and ordinarily service in consecutive terms shall be limited to six years. However, a member who is elected to fill an incomplete term shall be eligible, after completing the vacated term, to be elected to two consecutive full terms. A member of the Board having served a total of two consecutive full terms shall be ineligible for reelection to the Board for a period of at least one year. Board members shall be elected in three classes as nearly equal in number as possible, of which only one shall expire each year.
